International Migratory Bird Day and Clean and Green Riverfest 2015

BLESS is participating in two events in St. Albert on Saturday, May 9th. Join us for a celebration of International Migratory Bird Day on the shores of the Sturgeon River on Saturday from 9:00 am until noon. BLESS, Alberta Parks and the Wildbird General store will be on hand with displays and activities for children. Come out and learn more about the importance of Big Lake and Lois Hole Provincial Park to the welfare of our migratory feathered friends. Activities will take place at the BLESS Shelter on the Red Willow trail system off Rodeo Drive.

Then on Saturday afternoon between 2:00 and 5:00 pm, join BLESS, the City of St. Albert and other environmental groups for displays, tree planting, river bank cleanup and a BBQ on the shores of the river behind St. Albert Place and Canadian Tire. Both events are free and all are invited to attend and participate.
